J&K RTI Foundation holds meeting regarding Section 23 of J&K RTI Act 2009
A detailed discussion regarding Section 23 of J&K RTI Act 2009 was carried out on Sunday (March 04, 2018) at Office of the J&K RTI Foundation wherein Karar Reshi Zulfikar Hussain Hurrah Er Irfan Banka filed a joint application against Government of Jammu and Kashmir seeking status of compliance of Section 23 of J&K RTI Act 2009 by Government since 2009 till date.
Section 23 of J&K RTI Act 2009 impresses upon the Government to organize training programmes for Government officers especially PIOs but majority of the designated PIOs and First Appellate Authorities (FAAs) in J&K haven’t been trained to deal with RTI related cases.

Chairman J&K RTI Foundation, Er. Irfan Banka, welcomed the new members on the occasion.
